The first time I came to Pisa, I was spell bound by the coziness and lovely atmosphere of this charming Tuscan city. The city, home to fifty thousand students from all over Italy, and to another fifty thousand Pisani, has the fusion of modern diversity entangled with the past that screams "love me for what I am".
Pisa's name is a mystery! Not one knows from where its name came from, or the origins of its first founders. What we do know for sure is that ancient Roman authors referred to Pisa as the old city. In fact, some archeological finds were dated from the 5th century BC.
Pisa how lucky you are, let me count the ways! Pisa is 20 minutes close to the Tirrenean sea; an hour from Florence; one hour and 45 minutes from Siena; twenty minutes from Lucca, Pietrasanta, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi; three hours from Rome; and one hour from Ligurias' magical beach towns "Cinque Terre". I can continue counting on how close to many other beautiful cities in Italy, Pisa is.

Candlelight dining
The day was just perfect. You had a beautiful romantic walk along the Arno river. Midday arrived, you decided to have a quick pizza or cecina for lunch. After lunch the time is perfect to either go shopping or visit another museum. By the time you are done, the sun is setting in. You think gelato time while heading back to the hotel. Now the evening is just about to commence, and you are looking at your partner getting beautiful dressed. This calls for a "romantic dinner".
