Living in Pisa has been so far a lot of fun. I have enjoyed and laughed hard to the ups and downs of first becoming a "legal" citizen, followed by getting my social medical care card, which I think is great, and my tax number. The city, home to fifty thousand students from all over Italy, and to another fifty thousand Pisani, has the fusion of modern diversity entangled with the past that screams "love me for what I am". What's happening Pisa
You are in Pisa. You want to do something different besides museums, shops, food, sightseeing, etc.
Pisa has lots of interesting things happening all the time, from antique markets on Saturdays and Sundays, to free performances in the streets of Pisa, to arts and crafts fair in which " Made in Italy" is for real! I love to support them! I always try to purchase an interesting item created by them. Also there are many Art Galleries showcasing current artists Tuscany
The regions of Tuscany are, Massa Carrara famous for its marble. Lucca with its famous fortress that surrounds the city. Livorno an important maritime port. Siena has one of the most beautiful Cathedrals in the world. Firenze has DAVID!!! Prato is known for its textile industry. Grosseto has the beautiful beach of Monte Argentario. Arezzo is a beautiful medieval city where many movies has been filmed. Pistoia another medieval city with beautiful religious buildings. Tuscany is just Magical.
